This work is part of all those off-series pieces made during my research aimed at developing my larger works, many of them in fact become samples for those. And it is often in these pieces that I recognize to be the turning point of my research towards forms that are ever more deeply linked to my interiority and to my relationship with the material. In these impromptu objects I can easily get rid of all that anxiety and expectation that often accompanies me in my larger works, where instead long and meticulous planning is required.
