Lybra is a one-of-a-kind piece, turned from turkey oak. With its exceptionally thin walls and gently folded rim, this vessel is the result of an intentional dialogue between the maker and the material. As the wood dried, natural tensions emerged, shaping soft undulations that were embraced rather than corrected. These subtle folds, formed during the seasoning process, reveal the wood’s response to form, gravity, and time, echoing the balance that gives the piece its name.
Delicate yet grounded, Lybra invites both visual and tactile exploration, standing as a testament to the organic interplay between control and surrender in the turning process.
